Chinese Style Fried Noodle With Chicken Fillet 中式鸡柳炒面


Chinese Fried Noodles with chicken fillet 中式鸡柳炒面 aka Chinese Chow Mien is a very simple and quick stir fry noodles that is commonly serve in Chinese household as breakfast or during special occasion like open house/ gathering. 

This is the recipe that I use to fix my last minute meal (at home) and also it's ideal to pack for my son to eat during school recess. Added some vegetables for a complete nutritious and delicious meal. 


Ingredients: 1 serving


1 Cooked Egg Noodles

1 Mini Fish Cake , sliced

50g Chicken Fillet, sliced

Some carrot, sliced or shredded 

Some vegetables of your choice (Cai Xin/ Baby Bak Choy/ Bean Sprout, chopped)



Seasoning:

(A) 

1/4 tsp Soy Sauce

Pinch of Salt and Pepper

1/4 tsp Sesame Oil 

1/4 tsp Corn Starch

(B) - mix well in a bowl

1/2 tbsp Oyster Sauce

1/2 tbsp Soy Sauce

Dash of White Pepper 

1 tsp Sugar

1/4 tsp Sesame Oil

1 tbsp Water

1/4 tsp Dark Soy Sauce

Oil for cooking

1 tbsp minced Garlic

Method:

1. Add seasoning (A) to chicken fillet. Let it marinate for 30 minutes. 



2. Heat oil in a skillet, fry garlic until fragrant. Add carrot and vegetables, stir fry till the vegetables are slightly soften. 




3. Add in marinated chicken fillet and fish cake. Stir fry till the meat are almost cooked, add in noodles. Stir with a pair of bamboo chopsticks.



4. When the meat is cooked through, gradually stir in seasoning (B). You may not need all the sauce, add to taste. Stir fry another minute and remove from heat. Served warm.
