Hippo & Elephant Cute Sweet Bun 可爱小河马与小象甜面包

Friends who had been following my blog since day 1 would know that I like to make unique cute food for my little boy. Here's another one that I made today which I'm very satisfied with the outcome.

Hippo for my boy (that's my boy's favorite animal) and elephants for myself. Ahhemmm.... I don't especially like elephant bun but I must make something else besides hippo so that I GET TO EAT THE BREAD! If I make all hippo pictures, my boy will keep them all for himself. Haha.... now making bread at home must have strategy planning...otherwise you don't get to eat!  lol...

I made this using my Soft Sweet Bun recipe. Below is the method of how to print the animal pictures on the bun.

Things that you need:
(A)
1 Egg Yolk
1 tsp Cocoa Powder

Bread Dough
Cookie Cutter
Tooth Pick

Method:
1. Mix (A) together to form a smooth paste.

2. Dip the cookie cutter into the cocoa mixture.

3. Print on the bread dough.

4. Draw the details with a tooth pick.

** DO NOT EGG WASH the printed dough **
